The book of Leviticus is a notoriously difficult book, full of both harsh rules and beautiful expressions of the holiness of God and God’s people. In January of this year, I had the opportunity to preach twice on the book of Leviticus.
The first sermon was preached at Landrum Presbyterian Church in Landrum, SC on January 17, 2016:
– Title: “You shall be holy…” (Lev. 19:2)
– The first reading is from Leviticus 19:1-2, 13-18.
– The second reading is from Luke 10:25-37, the story of the Good Samaritan.

The second sermon was preached at First Presbyterian Church-Woodruff, SC on January 24, 2016:
– Title: “Neither do I condemn you.” (John 8:11)
– The first reading is from Leviticus 20:10.
– The second reading is from John 7:53-8:11, the story of the woman caught in adultery.
