“…I have danced before the Lord.” (II Samuel 6:21)
A sermon on II Samuel 6, when King David danced with ecstatic abandon before God, leading the people in frenzied worship as the Ark of the Covenant was brought into the new capital of Jerusalem. Preached at First Presbyterian Church-Woodruff, SC on June 26, 2016.
“You are made to be kings and queens, principal dancers and pentecostal dancers, poet saints, renaissance saints. You are made to be greatness, before a Greatness greater than ourselves.”
Own your foolishness. Own your majesty. Pour yourself out before God and the people.
