Disbelieving: A Sermon for the Third Sunday in Easter

May 4, 2014 By Scott Neely Leave a Comment

Luke 24:36-49

“While in their joy they were disbelieving…” (Luke 24:41)

Friends, think of your own stories.

How can we believe the unbelievable?

And yet we have seen it.

Think of your own stories.

We know the joy of what we struggle to believe in.

Therefore beloved, tell the story you have received.

You are clothed in power.

People need to know the love of God is stronger than their greatest fears.

Think of your own story.

Amen.
